You answer fewer than half the questions and you fail to compose any essays.

You answer all the questions but your essays are brief and unorganized.

You answer all the questions and your essays meet length requirements but they still lack complete cohesion.

You answer all the questions and your essays are thoughtful and complete.

Part 2

Your time capsule bears a striking resemblance to a shoebox.

Your time capsule bears a striking resemblance to a shoebox that has been decorated and covered in plastic.

Your time capsule bears no resemblance to a shoebox but rather is most likely metallic or plastic and is able to stay somewhat  safe and dry for the next 5 years. Your time capsule is also creatively decorated and has personal flair.

Your time capsule is completely waterproof and is  uniquely designed (which means it does not look like any other time capsule) Also your capsule is artistically designed.  Essentially it seals as good as it looks! If you have reached this point  NASA is actively recruiting you for your engineering skills!

Final Grade

You have not met either the requirements for part I or II.

You have barely met the requirements for part I and II; and your time capsule says nothing about yourself, your community, country, or world.

You have satisfied the requirements for part I and II; and your time capsule will most likely survive the next 5 years while adequately representing yourself, your community, country, and your world.

You have FAR exceeded the assignment criteria and your time capsule will provide yourself and future generations with a wonderful and imaginative look at yourself, your community, country, and your world.
