A Smile is the Same in Any Language
The District School Board of Collier County recognizes the inherent linguistic and cultural diversity of its students. To provide English Language Learners (ELL) equal access to the curriculum, the ELL and Multicultural Programs staff has developed a series of goals that will assist students in the acquisition of the English language to provide instruction in the content areas, and develop a setting where the students can assimilate the American culture while enriching and sharing their own cultural experiences with classmates and teachers.
