VOLUNTEER LOG SHEET NOW AVAILABLE
To help you keep track of your efforts you can now download the Volunteer Log Sheet. This sheet is for your personal reference as a way to help you keep track of your hours during the school year. Our volunteer hours are VERY important to our school and will be used to calculate our school's overall grade as well as be a part of our school improvement plan.
It's very important that your hours be counted!
The attached form is FOR YOUR USE ONLY! Toward the end of the school year (Spring 2013) I will contact you to record your volunteer hours for the school year. I will be looking for a total hours only, not a breakdown of when and how many hours per event! I hope this log helps! Please let me know if you have any questions.

NHS VOLUNTEERS
We have been advised by the Collier County School System about some "updating" that needs to be done for all volunteers. In an effort to abide by the Jessica Lunsford Act, we are required to Fast Pass every active volunteer each school year. NHS will need to update your Fast Pass or create one for you if you don't currently have one. Many of you filled out your paperwork and provided your driver's license years ago at lower level schools, but in order to comply we must now update each and every school year. Please see Susan Zenz in our front office at your earliest convenience to get this taken care of. You will need to have your driver's license with you! We are sorry for the inconvenience, but it is for the safety of all! If you have any questions please contact Susan Zenz at NHS main number 377-2200.
If you are a member of another group within Naples High please help us spread the word. This policy applies to ALL school volunteers.
ESEMBLER AND E-MAIL FUNCTIONS
The e-mail function in eSembler is working for a teacher account to another teacher via their parent access and from a parent account to a teacher account. The e-mail function fails when a student e-mails a teacher via eSembler. The e-mail is sent to the teacher and the teacher’s response is sent to eSembler site master.There are many parents that log into eSembler with their student’s ID and password. If a parent e-mails this way they will receive no response. Parents, please set up your own eSembler account through the following link: http://collierschools.com/parents/parentreg.asp
If a student does e-mail their teacher via eSembler the teacher will get the e-mail. If a response is desired,students can include their e-mail address in the actual body of the e-mail so the teacher can respond. OR Students have an e-mail account in Angel they can use. Students have no e-mail account attached to their log in to eSembler.
HELP NHS EARN FREE SUPPLIES
Our school will earn credits equal to 5% of your qualifying school or office supply purchases to use for FREE supplies. You can credit the school year round! Give our school's ID#70022799 every time you shop at Office Depot. For more information please CLICK HERE.
BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION
Naples High School is collecting box tops for Lake Park Elementary School. Please turn in your saved box tops in the collection boxes in the NHS Main Office and Attendance Office. For more information on the brands that are being accepted please click HERE.
