The Department of Differentiated Accountability is proud to support schools in their improvement processes and progress monitoring programs as part of the Planning, Accountability and Staff Development Division’s support of the District’s mission of “providing exceptional educational opportunities that motivate and engage each student” to accomplish improved student achievement and development.

Differentiated Accountability

Differentiated Accountability is a program supporting continuous school improvement based upon state identified criteria.  The Department of Differentiated Accountability coordinates and supports implementation of the state’s requirements, as determined by criteria based on each school’s Florida School Grade and Federal Adequate Yearly Progress (AYP)

District Improvement and Assistance Planning

The Department of Differentiated Accountability facilitates the completion of the District Improvement and Assistance Plan, comprising of input from Learning Support Services leadership with current student achievement data.

District Oversight Teams

The Department of Differentiated Accountability is responsible for facilitating and overseeing District Oversight Teams for schools as mandated by the Florida Differentiated Accountability program.  District Oversight Teams are composed of district and school leaders whose primary task is to support the school improvement planning efforts.   

District Accreditation - AdvancED - SACS CASI

The Department of Differentiated Accountability coordinates the Collier County Public School system district and school Accreditation processes.  CCPS was awarded district accreditation though AdvancED in 2007.  We anticipate renewal of our accreditation following the spring 2012 Quality Assurance Review by AdvancED.

School Improvement

The Department of Differentiated Accountability guides the Collier Continuous Improvement Model and oversees school improvement planning and reporting, as well as progress monitoring, for all Collier County Public Schools.  The Collier Continuous Improvement Model is the foundation of school improvement for our schools: a continuous cycle of strategizing, implementing, and monitoring improvement initiatives in schools to support student achievement and development.
